About The Position

The Die Cutter Operator reports to the Shift Supervisor. The Die Cutting Operator is responsible for all activities associated with the operation, Set-up, cleaning, preventative maintenance and safe operation of our flatbed die cutters. Also, the die cut operator is empowered to recommend improvements to the process and procedures and or operation of the machines.

Requirements

• High School degree or GED.
• Die Cutting Experience with Bobst Preferred.
• Mechanical Inclined.
• Thrives in a fast paced, constantly changing environment.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect all dies before and after each run to ensure that all repairs are made before the next run.
• Maximize the utilization of the equipment by operating the machinery at peak capacity and speed.
• Monitor and adhere to specifications for each customer order and ensure quality is in accordance with all required specifications.
• Maintains machine and parts in daily operations.
• Understand machine set-up techniques of Die Cutter.
• Owns die cut quality.
• Make minor machine adjustments and assist in major machines adjustments as needed.
• Follow 5S standards.
• Maintains production schedule and records and adheres to target goals.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Ability to work overtime as the job requires.
