Die Cutter Operator
About The Position
Our Client is a leading manufacturer in the specialty cartons and printed materials industry, serving diverse customer bases with precision-engineered packaging solutions. The company operates state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities and maintains strict compliance with industry quality and safety standards. We are seeking an experienced Die Cutter Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will operate offline die cutter machines to produce finished printed materials according to customer specifications. You will be responsible for machine setup, quality control, troubleshooting, and overseeing support technicians to ensure high productivity and precision operations.
Requirements
- Minimum 3+ years of offline die cutting operator experience in the folding carton industry
- Proven experience with die cutters equipped with blanking capability
- Proficiency with offline die cutter machines (Cleveland or Bobst die cutters preferred)
- Ability to perform make readies, resolve defects, troubleshoot, and make adjustments
- Strong mathematical skills including computing percentages, weights, and measures
- High School diploma or GED
- Ability to work onsite at our Peachtree City, GA facility
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of ISO standards and quality objectives
- Familiarity with cGMP and HACCP Food Safety Requirements
- Experience supervising or mentoring production technicians
Responsibilities
- Operate offline die cutter machines and monitor operations to ensure accuracy and efficiency
- Perform a variety of make-ready tasks to optimize productivity and precision
- Troubleshoot equipment issues, make adjustments, and clear jams while processing product
- Oversee General technicians working on equipment maintenance and support
- Ensure quality standards and review jobs for accuracy before completion
- Comply with cGMP and HACCP Food Safety Requirements
