Responsibilities

• Operate a machine to produce aluminum die castings.
• Spray die per supervisor's instruction with die lubricate.
• Operate control panel on die cast machine.
• Ladle aluminum from holding furnace using back ladle technique.
• Pour aluminum into shot sleeve.
• Remove casting from machine.
• Check casting for defect, broke core, etc. and perform quality checks as required by Control Plan.
• Place casting on conveyor.
• Recognize stuck casting and report to set up personnel.
