Requirements

• High School Diploma, Certification, or some College
• Ability to lift or move up to 25lbs
• Occasionally lift or move up to 50lbs
• Constant exposure to indoor manufacturing environment
• Constant exposure to moderate noise
• Constantly stand and walk throughout the workday
• Frequently reach with hands and arms; use hands to manipulate, handle, or feel material
• Constant use hands/fingers to grasp, pinch, pull, feel, or handle and manipulate parts and tools
• Frequent repetitive motions
• Constant requirement of specific vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to focus
• Constantly wear eye protection
• Mechanical and tool use experience

Responsibilities

• Setting up, starting and troubleshooting die case molding machines.
• Ensuring machines are operating effectively and efficiently.
• Checking and testing castings manufactured in a zinc die cast machine to assure conformance with requirements and specifications.
• Measuring and visually inspecting products for surface and dimension defects in order to ensure conformance to specifications.
• Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers and gauges.
• Turning valves and dials of machine to regulate pressure, temperature, speed, feed rates and to set cycle times.
