About The Position

This position is responsible for repackaging and/or reboxing of usable inventory, processing of customer returns, movement of stock back into the warehouse, performing monthly physical inventory scans, and disposing of damaged goods. This person will follow the directions given by Department Management- Lead, Supervisor, or Manager. The primary responsibility of the department is to rework inventory (ex. adding new UPC tags/advertisers, folding garments, adding polybags), process customer returns at a designated station, and moving bales back into production. The Department Lead/Supervisor will direct the associate to move throughout the department to ensure work is being processed in a timely and safe manner.

Requirements

  • Must have a High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Preferred to have at least 3 months of experience in a high-paced volume processing warehousing and distribution operations.
  • A minimum of 3 months’ experience utilizing a Warehouse Management System and Radio Frequency equipment.
  • Must be able to read, speak and understand English.
  • Ability to demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate with their Department Lead or Supervisor.
  • Ability to derive and utilize simple mathematical problems.

Responsibilities

  • Repackaging and/or reboxing of inventory according to customer specifications and company’s production standards.
  • Using computer and keyboard to print UPC hang tags and/or fringe stickers.
  • Using handheld swift tack machines or staple machine to attach UPC hang tags and/or advertisers.
  • Using pallet jacks to move products from one area to another.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, organized work area and report any concerns or damage to the Lead or Supervisor.
  • Accurate processing of customer web or retail returns and all reworked items back to inventory using computer and keyboard.
  • Using handheld devices to perform monthly physical inventory scans.
  • Communicate production concerns or issues with Lead and/or Supervisor.
  • Provide feedback daily during Coaching and Training sessions.
  • Understand clear day-to-day objectives from their Lead or Supervisor.
  • Perform other additional departmental duties assigned by the Lead, Supervisor, or Manager.
  • Work in Production areas as required.
