About The Position

Responsible for effectively operating and organizing assigned growth and fabrication processes and analytical equipment to meet all growth schedules. Accountable to follow established procedures, work instructions, safety protocols and accepted practices to perform basic maintenance of fabrication equipment. Effectively record and process test data and reports for internal and external customer evaluation. Responsible for ensuring Lock Out-Tag Out (LOTO) procedures involving troubleshooting and maintenance of systems are adhered to consistently. Successfully observe and report process and equipment deviations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Basic understanding of computer equipment, common instruments, laboratory equipment and mechanical tools
  • Ability to analyze and troubleshoot basic issues
  • Due to ITAR compliance, this position requires a U.S. citizen, permanent resident alien, or protected individual per 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3).
  • All employees are required to follow the site EHS procedures and COHERENT Corporate EHS standards.
  • Responsible for the execution and maintenance of the ISO 9000, 9001, 14001 and/or other applicable standards that may apply to the relevant roles and responsibilities within the Quality Management System and Environmental Management System.
