About The Position

DaVita is hiring a Dialysis Technician (PCT) to support patients with end-stage renal disease in an outpatient dialysis clinic. As a PCT, you’ll provide direct, hands-on care under RN supervision, helping patients through life-sustaining dialysis treatment. Some details about this position: Operational Hours: M-S 4:00am - 7:30pm, rotational scheduling (schedule can fluctuate depending on patient census) Hours of work may vary during the orientation/training period PCTs expected shifts for this clinic: 3-4 days/week with a minimum of two Saturdays/month and can be asked to start as early as 4:00 am. Hours of work may vary during the training period; however, you will typically be working between 32-40 hours per week during training You must have a flexible schedule and be able to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holiday Clinic has 17 chairs and will have 1-2 RNs and 4 PCTS scheduled per shift (depending on census) Our PCTs also find DaVita professionally fulfilling. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Comfortable around blood, needles, and medical equipment
  • Physically able to work long shifts on your feet
  • Willing to float between local clinics if needed
  • Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Dependability, willingness to learn, and fun personalities are crucial for our patients

Responsibilities

  • Deliver safe, hygienic, and compassionate dialysis care
  • Monitor patients before, during, and after treatment
  • Set up and maintain dialysis equipment
  • Record vital signs and patient data
  • Educate patients on treatment and kidney health
  • Collaborate with nurses, dietitians, social workers, and other care team members
