Performs tasks contributing to performance of maintenance dialysis for patients with end stage renal disease, under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse. All facility staff must meet the personnel qualifications and demonstrated competencies necessary to serve collectively the comprehensive complex needs of the dialysis patient. Identifies intradialytic comorbidities and monitors patient and equipment alarms during treatment. LPN Job Summary: Responsible for assisting the registered nurse in assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating patient care. The LPN is accountable for all patients assigned to him/her according to established policies and procedures and the scope of practice for the licensed practical nurse.
