About The Position

The Dialysis Technician, CCHT position involves providing direct patient care for assigned patients under the supervision of a licensed nurse. Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• CPR Certification.
• CCHT certification required.
• 1 year of dialysis experience required.
• 1 year of patient care experience required.

Nice To Haves

• Education in physical sciences and/or training in laboratory techniques preferred.
• Previous patient care experience in a hospital setting or related facility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care for assigned patients under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
• Document information related to patient treatment accurately.
• Assist licensed nurse with pre and post dialysis patient assessments and their documentation.
• Monitor and document dialysis treatment parameters on Dialysis Flow Sheets.
• Report any significant information or changes in patient condition to the supervisor.
• Assist with all emergency operational procedures.
• Initiate basic CPR measures in the event of cardiac and/or pulmonary arrest.

Benefits

• Contract position with pay ranging from $30 to $32 per hour.
