About The Position
The Hemodialysis Registered Professional Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing education and support to patients and their caretakers who have chosen home dialysis therapy. This role includes assessing patients' readiness for home therapy, training them, and conducting follow-up visits. The RN manages the care of patients with impaired kidney function, develops nursing care plans, communicates with the healthcare team, and assists in research studies. The position also involves supporting unit management in achieving quality care, patient satisfaction, and staff development.
