About The Position

As a Registered Nurse (RN) at US Renal Care, you will be an integral part of a cross-functional team, working under the supervision of a Charge Nurse. Your role involves assisting and supervising Patient Care Technicians (PCTs) to provide care for patients living with kidney disease. You will work directly with patients to deliver safe, comfortable, and high-quality dialysis treatment, including completing and documenting physical assessments, monitoring patients, reviewing medication profiles, and administering medications. You will also be a critical member of an interdisciplinary team for patient assessment and care planning, ensure staffing requirements are met, and adhere to all company policies, procedures, and regulations.

Requirements

Current nursing license in the applicable state.
Confirmation of ability to distinguish all primary colors.

Nice To Haves

One or more years of current nursing experience.
Previous dialysis nursing experience.

Responsibilities

Work directly with patients to provide safe, comfortable, and high-quality dialysis treatment.
Complete and document physical assessments before and after treatments.
Monitor patients during treatment.
Ensure quality renal care by completing monthly reviews of patient medication profiles.
Administer medications according to physician orders.
Be a critical member of an interdisciplinary team to provide all required patient assessment and care planning activities.
Make sure center staffing requirements are met at all times under the direction of the Administrator and according to state regulations for staffing ratios.
Adhere to all company policies and procedures and state and federal laws and regulations.
Participate in all required staff meetings and continuing education offerings.
