A Dialysis Registered Nurse provides specialized nursing care at one of DCI's in-center hemodialysis units as part of a patient care team. Our RNs are integral in ensuring safe care and the highest quality outcomes are prioritized for every patient. Schedule : Full-time, three 12-hour shifts starting at 6am; Sundays off; no overnight shifts Compensation : Pay ranges from $32-$45 per hour, depending on nursing and dialysis experience Benefits : Paid 12-week training with preceptor Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits Life and long-term disability insurance are provided at no additional expense to the employee Paid time off (PTO), including holidays Extended Sick Bank (ESB) in addition to PTO - paid time for doctor appointments, sickness, or medical leave Retirement plans with $.50 of each contributed dollar matched for eligible employees, up to 8 percent Education reimbursement Employee assistance program Wellness program Among others
Requirements

- Dialysis experience not required, job shadow opportunities available
- DCI provides 3-months of comprehensive training, including classroom group sessions and one-on-one skills training

Responsibilities
- Prepare dialysis machine, its alarms, and treatment supplies and ensure quality standards are met
- Perform hemodialysis treatments per facility policies and procedures
- Ongoing patient education, training and health coaching
- Monitor patients during dialysis, assessing and communicating changes with physician and families
- Administer and chart all prescribed medications
- Follow CDC/CMS infection control regulations
- Participate in patient care conferences, rounds and chart reviews
- Document required patient education efforts
- Facilitate continuity of care with local hospitals
- Assist in medication inventory maintenance
- Lead a small patient care team
- Contribute to onboarding new staff members as directed
- Additional tasks as requested
