Requirements
- Valid temporary or permanent State Registered Nurse License.
- At least one (1) year of Hemodialysis experience
- BLS required.
- ACLS required within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities
- Using independent and interdependent judgment, the Dialysis Registered Nurse (RN) maintains the delivery of quality care by assuring the nursing care plan is followed.
- In collaboration with the physician, the Dialysis RN assures implementation of the assessment plan, evaluation, and follow-up of the plan of care for the patient population.
- Initiating an on-going systematic assessment of patients.
- Providing nursing care to meet the needs of the hemodialysis patient.
- Interpreting assessment data and information.
- Collaborating with providers regarding the dialysis treatment plan.
- Performing hemodialysis as prescribed.
- Teaching and counseling patients/families.
