About The Position

As a Dialysis Registered Nurse at US Renal Care, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients with kidney disease. You will work closely with a cross-functional team, under the supervision of a Charge Nurse, to ensure safe and effective dialysis treatment while supervising Patient Care Technicians.

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas.
• Experience in dialysis nursing preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Nice To Haves

• Certification in nephrology nursing (CNN) or related specialty.
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR).

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, comfortable, and high-quality dialysis treatment to patients.
• Complete and document physical assessments before and after treatments.
• Monitor patients during dialysis treatment.
• Ensure quality renal care by reviewing patient medication profiles monthly.
• Administer medications according to physician orders.
• Participate in patient assessment and care planning activities as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• Ensure center staffing requirements are met according to state regulations.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures, as well as state and federal laws and regulations.
• Participate in required staff meetings and continuing education offerings.
