About The Position

Dialysis RN's care for patients with diseases related to the kidney. They administer dialysis treatment to patients with kidney disease and renal failure. Dialysis RN's specialize in the medical treatment that filters excess fluids, minerals, and other toxins from the blood when the kidneys can no longer perform that function on their own. It is the responsibility of a Dialysis RN to ensure total comfort to the acute dialysis patient during dialysis treatment processes.

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Experience in dialysis nursing preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice To Haves

• Certification in nephrology nursing.
• Bilingual skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer dialysis treatment to patients with kidney disease and renal failure.
• Ensure total comfort to the acute dialysis patient during dialysis treatment processes.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and overall health during treatment.
• Educate patients and their families about kidney disease and dialysis procedures.
