DaVita is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide life-giving care in a hospital setting to patients and their families dealing with end-stage renal failure or chronic kidney disease. The role involves taking responsibility for the complete ongoing care of each patient to ensure their dialysis treatment stays on track, working in conjunction with dialysis RNs. This position requires working 3-4 days a week with 12+ hour shifts, with possible travel to cover other SNF clinics in the region and alternating Saturdays. The LPN will spend the majority of the day in direct one-on-one patient care, providing safe, comfortable, and hygienic dialysis treatment. DaVita emphasizes meeting and/or exceeding clinical outcomes and expects multitasking to meet the needs of the service, patients, and SNF partners. Training includes a combination of classroom and hands-on learning through DaVita’s award-winning programs, which may take place in a facility or a training clinic. DaVita is a comprehensive kidney care provider, a leader in clinical quality and innovation for over 20 years, focused on transforming care and increasing equitable access for patients globally. As of March 31, 2022, DaVita served 200,800 patients at 2,809 outpatient dialysis centers in the U.S. and an additional 346 centers worldwide.
