About The Position
Our dialysis center is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Dialysis Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will contribute to efficient dialysis unit operations by performing stocking and custodial duties. Northland Park Dialysis is a 32-station unit operating three shifts, six days a week handling complex patients from ages 20-90 years old. Many require assistance with mobility devices. Operating hours for patients are 5:00 am - 8:00 pm and team members 4:45am to 8:30 pm. Employee schedules are made through several shift designs. Patients are medically managed by several Nephrologist and Advanced Practice Practitioners (APP). We have Registered Dietitians and Social Workers to address concrete patient needs such as transportation and dietary needs. Unit staffing includes a Nurse Manager, a Nursing Supervisor, and many Registered Nurses and Dialysis Clinical Technicians. We have additional support staff of Biomed Techs and Dialysis Assistants overseen by a technical leader.
