Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
  • Master's degree required within 5 years of appointment.
  • Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience, with at least 3 years in dialysis nursing.
  • Minimum of 3 years of leadership or supervisory experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in dialysis.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with pediatric dialysis programs is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Plays a crucial role in supporting the overall nursing leadership team by overseeing the implementation of evidence-based nursing practices, ensuring quality patient care delivery, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the nursing department.
  • Collaborate with nursing staff, interdisciplinary teams, and administration to develop and maintain policies, procedures, and standards that align with regulatory requirements and best practices in healthcare.
  • Through leadership and guidance, contribute to the enhancement of patient outcomes, staff development, and organizational excellence in healthcare delivery.
  • Will work to develop and implement strategies for regional growth and expansion of dialysis services.
  • Oversee all aspects of regulatory compliance for dialysis services, ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local regulations (e.g., CMS, ESRD Network, state health departments).
  • Develop, implement, and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and quality metrics.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and protocols to optimize patient care delivery and operational efficiency across all dialysis units.
