About The Position
This position is responsible for the delivery of excellence in patient care, which includes assessing, formulating nursing diagnoses, establishing goals, planning and implementing interventions, and evaluating patient care outcomes. The staff nurse's professional practice also involves participating in and maintaining quality, cost effectiveness, and guest relations. Patient care must be provided in compliance with hospital policies and procedures and the standards of professional nursing practice as defined by the Board of Nurse Examiners for the State of Texas.
Requirements
- Associates Degree in Nursing or Diploma
- At least one (1) year of RN experience
- Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Texas
- American Heart Association BLS certification
- ACLS certification obtained within 6 months of hire
- NIH certification obtained within 6 months of hire
Responsibilities
