About The Position

The Educational Diagnostician at Frenship ISD is responsible for assessing and diagnosing students with special educational needs. This role involves collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop appropriate educational plans and interventions for students. The position requires a strong understanding of special education laws and practices, as well as the ability to effectively communicate findings and recommendations.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Special Education or related field.
• Valid Texas Educational Diagnostician certification.
• Experience working with students with special needs.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Experience with data analysis and interpretation.
• Familiarity with special education laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments to diagnose students with learning disabilities and other special needs.
• Collaborate with teachers and parents to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Provide recommendations for educational interventions and support services.
• Monitor and evaluate student progress and adjust educational plans as necessary.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student needs and progress.
