About The Position

In this role, you'll enjoy a consistent daylight schedule, Monday-Friday, with every other weekend and only 3-4 holidays per year—and best of all, no call requirements! As part of a world-class academic medical center, you'll gain valuable experience performing a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures while working alongside expert technologists, radiologists, and care providers.

Requirements

• Graduate of an ARRT approved school of Radiologic Technology or verification from ARRT approved school of completion of program and scheduled graduation date
• Technologists hired before graduation will have indirect supervision by an ARRT certified diagnostic technologist until the degree is verified
• Technologist cannot work in an outpatient setting until ARRT has been obtained
• ARRT Registry eligible as a Radiologic Technologist
• Must obtain radiography registry within 6 months of hire date
• CPR or BLS Required
• CPR required based on AHA standards that include both a didactic and skills demonstration component within 30 days of hire

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiography procedures using established protocols and independent judgment
• Prepare patients for exams, confirm identity using two identifiers, and review histories/orders for accuracy
• Communicate clearly with patients to explain procedures and ensure comfort
• Administer oral and rectal contrast per physician orders and policies
• Accurately code, track, and archive exams in RIS/ISITE systems
• Collaborate with technologists, radiologists, and staff to deliver efficient, compassionate care
