About The Position

In this role, you’ll perform a variety of diagnostic radiography procedures that help physicians provide accurate diagnoses and exceptional care. Requirements

  • Strong technical skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and patient care skills
  • Graduate of an ARRT-approved school of Radiologic Technology or verification of program completion and scheduled graduation date.
  • Technologists hired prior to graduation will work under indirect supervision by an ARRT-certified diagnostic technologist until degree verification is complete.
  • Cannot work in an outpatient setting until ARRT certification is obtained.
  • ARRT Registry Eligible as a Radiologic Technologist.
  • Must obtain radiography registry within 6 months of hire (effective January 1, 2025).
  • Diagnostic Technologists hired prior to January 1, 2025, must obtain registry within 12 months of hire/transfer date.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) required within 30 days of hire, based on AHA standards (includes didactic and skills demonstration).
  • If working in a New York facility, must hold certification from ARRT or NMTCB and be licensed through the New York State Department of Health.
  • Act 31 Child Abuse Reporting (with renewal)
  • Act 33 (with renewal)
  • Act 34 (with renewal)
  • Act 73 FBI Clearance (with renewal)

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in diagnostic imaging preferred
