About The Position

This is a full time, nights, special weekend options position. It is 3- 12 hour shifts, Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 7pm - 7am, at University Hospital. New hire bonus available for those who qualify!

Requirements

  • Basic Life Support certification, required.
  • Ability to maneuver equipment and improvise positions when the condition of the patient does not permit routine positioning.
  • Active status as a Registered Technologist - Radiography, RT(R), through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or a recent graduate of an approved training program in Radiologic Technology (board eligible).
  • If board eligible, must obtain credential in Radiography within 6 months of hire.
  • Current Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) license as Radiologic Technologist or a current ISDH Radiology Student Permit.

Responsibilities

  • Performs diagnostic radiographic procedures for radiological diagnosis in a timely fashion.
  • Demonstrates the appropriate knowledge and skills necessary to work with patients from pediatric through geriatric.
  • Follows physician's instructions, prepares and operates equipment, and positions patients correctly to record the requested diagnostic images.
  • Treats patients with care and respect.
