Thanks for your interest in joining the team! Full‑time Diagnostic Radiology Technologist position at our Pediatric Orthopedic Clinic. The schedule is Monday–Friday, 9:30a–6p, supporting a consistent daytime workflow in a specialized pediatric setting. A sign‑on bonus is available for eligible applicants!
Requirements
- Requires 0-3 years of relevant experience.
- Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) is required.
- Requires ability to maneuver equipment and improvise positions when the condition of the patient does not permit routine positioning.
- Requires active status as a Registered Technologist - Radiography, RT(R), through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or a recent graduate of an approved training program in Radiologic Technology (board eligible). If board eligible, must obtain credential in Radiography within 6 months of hire.
- Requires current Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) license as Radiologic Technologist or a current ISDH Radiology Student Permit.
Responsibilities
- Operates imaging equipment such as x-ray, fluoro, portable x-ray, and fluoroscopy equipment used in surgery.
- Prepares patients by explaining exam and positioning them correctly.
- Collaborates with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure accurate imaging.
- Follows radiation safety protocols.
- Documents detailed patient history.
- Stays current with continuing education.
- Monitors patients during exam for safety.
- Documents necessary information in EMR.
- Assists with minimally invasive procedures as needed.
