Thanks for your interest in joining the team! This part-time Diagnostic Radiology Technologist position offers a steady 8a–5p schedule with no call, nights, or weekends. You’ll work in a fast‑paced orthopedic department with a strong, supportive team culture. The hiring team is seeking candidates with orthopedic experience, as the role supports a high‑volume environment averaging 175–200+ exams per day. Sign-on bonus available to eligible applicants.

Requirements

• Requires 0-3 years of relevant experience.
• Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) is required.
• Requires ability to maneuver equipment and improvise positions when the condition of the patient does not permit routine positioning.
• Requires active status as a Registered Technologist - Radiography, RT(R), through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or a recent graduate of an approved training program in Radiologic Technology (board eligible). If board eligible, must obtain credential in Radiography within 6 months of hire.
• Requires current Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) license as Radiologic Technologist or a current ISDH Radiology Student Permit.

Responsibilities

• Operates imaging equipment such as x-ray, fluoro, portable x-ray, and fluoroscopy equipment used in surgery.
• Prepares patients by explaining exam and positioning them correctly.
• Collaborates with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure accurate imaging.
• Follows radiation safety protocols.
• Documents detailed patient history.
• Stays current with continuing education.
• Monitors patients during exam for safety.
• Documents necessary information in EMR.
• Assists with minimally invasive procedures as needed.
