The PRN Diagnostic Radiology Technologist role includes a blend of imaging and clinical responsibilities. The position involves venipuncture, administering oral and injectable medications, providing wound care, completing EKGs, conducting point‑of‑care testing, and performing ear irrigations. The team also supports occupational health services, including physical examinations, drug screenings, etc. Operates imaging equipment such as x-ray, fluoro, portable x-ray, and fluoroscopy equipment used in surgery. Prepares patients by explaining exam and positioning them correctly. Collaborates with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure accurate imaging. Follows radiation safety protocols. Documents detailed patient history. Stays current with continuing education. Monitors patients during exam for safety. Documents necessary information in EMR. Assists with minimally invasive procedures as needed.
