About The Position

DocStar Medical Partners Facility City & State: East Texas Facility Type: Acute care hospital Provider Profession Needed: MD Specialty: Diagnostic Radiology Start Date: 10/13 End Date: 3-6 months Length of Assignment: Minimum 90-day assignment Credentialing Timeframe: Emergency credentialing for providers with a clean record (1-2 weeks) 60 days on average, but need a provider asap Work Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday Preferred hours: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM, on site The facility strongly prefers on-site coverage but is willing to be flexible if the provider requests a hybrid model that includes some telehealth. If you have a telehealth-only provider, feel free to send them over — the hospital is in urgent need of support and open to creative solutions to fill this role. Patient Volume: Procedures: Reading 80-100 studies per day IF the provider does IR - they are expected to read 60-80 studied for IR/ day EMR: Meditech Other tech used at hospital: Mckesson Pax, Power scribe License Needed: TX Certifications Needed: BC Relevant Experience/Skill Set Needed: Cred requires 2 years of case logs, at least 2 years of experience. Other additional pertinent information: The current census is lower than usual due to a lack of providers on staff. However, once a locum is brought on board, both census and patient volume are expected to increase accordingly.
