We are seeking a Diagnostic Radiologist specializing in Mammography for a locum tenens position in Grass Valley, CA. This role is primarily outpatient and is intended to provide supplemental coverage starting from January 1, 2026, and will continue on an ongoing basis. The position involves clinical responsibilities only, with a shift schedule from 8 AM to 4 PM, requiring coverage for one week per month. The volume of cases includes performing procedures such as wire localization and biopsies, with an expected workload of 13 procedures, 225 screening mammograms, and 30 diagnostic mammograms per month. The radiologist will be supported by Radiology Techs and US Techs and will be responsible for reading studies of all modalities, including diagnostic mammograms and breast biopsies. The electronic medical record system used is Cerner. Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance will be covered by the facility.
