About The Position

The Diagnostic Radiological Technologist Lead operates and maintains equipment, performs preventive maintenance, and supervises clinical staff in the absence of the Clinical Coordinator.

Requirements

• Satisfactory completion of formal imaging school.
• Meets AMA approved school requirements.
• New York State Department of Health License.
• Participates in orientation and continuing education.
• Updates and maintains knowledge and skills related to specific areas of expertise.
• CPR/BLS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs imaging procedures.
• Provides patient services using imaging modalities.
• Supervises shift operations.
• Operates equipment/machinery within Medical Imaging Services.
• Maintains equipment/machinery within Medical Imaging Services.
• Performs preventive maintenance procedures.
• Adheres to safety standards within medical Imaging Services.
• Adheres to hospital policies and procedures.
• Supervises clinical staff in absence of Clinical Coordinator.
• Performs supervisory tasks as directed by Clinical Coordinator.

Benefits

• $12,000 New Hire Bonus
• Pay range: $32.25-45.70 based on experience, skills, and education.
• Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates.
