We are looking for talented Diagnostic Radiologic Technologists to join the Radiology Imaging Service at the San Francisco VA Medical Center. You’ll play a critical role in supporting our Veteran patients, ensuring high-quality imaging services while maintaining patient safety, comfort, and confidence. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in dynamic healthcare environments and want to contribute meaningfully to Veteran care. What You’ll Do Perform diagnostic radiology procedures including fluoroscopy, OR, and portable imaging. Operate ionizing radiation equipment safely and accurately, adhering to patient safety and radiation protocols. Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare staff to ensure timely and accurate diagnostic imaging. Provide exceptional patient care: explain procedures, prepare patients, and maintain confidentiality. Maintain equipment, supplies, and documentation in compliance with VA policies and infection control standards. Participate in quality assurance, continuing education, and mandatory VA trainings. You are patient-focused, able to educate, prepare, and reassure patients during exams. You are detail-oriented with strong documentation and record-keeping skills.
