About The Position

Work Schedule : Part-time per diem position. Day/evening/night hours as needed. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department. Pay : Work experience that is relevant to the position will be taken into consideration when determining the starting base pay. This position will work at University Hospital in Madison, WI. We are seeking a Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist – X-ray to: Perform a wide variety of imaging exams on adults, geriatric patients, adolescents, and pediatric age groups using a wide variety of radiographic equipment, computers, detectors, and plate readers. Troubleshoot basic maintenance, participate in QA, and resolve issues related to image processing and the image archiving system. Bring your knowledge to make quick and highly technical decisions in order to accommodate physical restrictions and pathology. Serve as a clinical instructor for affiliated imaging training programs and participate in the instruction of other technologists and visiting health care professionals and may also participate in clinical research. Requirements

  • Graduate of a School of Radiologic Technology Required
  • Previous healthcare experience Required
  • ARRT Radiography (R) certification Upon Hire Required
  • Wisconsin Radiological License Upon Hire Required
  • CPR certification within 3 months Required

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field Preferred
  • 2 years of clinical experience Preferred
