Schedule: PRN / Shift : Days Location: 2100 Ocoee Apopka Road, Apopka, FL 32703 The community youll be caring for: AdventHealth Apopka + AdventHealth Apopka is a seven-story, 120-bed hospital offering an extensive range of services including expanded surgical services, advanced surgical suites and a catheterization lab + The hospital also features a 30,000-square-foot emergency department with pediatric-friendly beds, imaging services, a full-service cafeteria, chapel, gift shop and on-site fire station + The hospital opened in December 2017, replacing the 50-bed hospital that AdventHealth had operated in downtown Apopka for more than four decades.

Requirements

• Graduate of Ultrasound Program
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• (AB) ARDMS or ARRT Abdomen
• (OBGYN) ARDMS or ARRT - Obstetrics and Gynecology
• RVT - Registered Vascular Technologist OR RVS Registered Vascular Sonographer

Nice To Haves

• Graduate of Vascular Ultrasound Program
• Associates in health-care related field OR Bachelors in health-care related field
• (BR) ARMDS or ARRT Breast Sonography

Responsibilities

• Performs a wide range of Sonography and Vascular Sonography procedures in accordance with department protocols.
• Conducts ultrasound procedures across a broad spectrum of patient ages, ensuring high-quality exams for interpretation by medical professionals.
• Assists physicians with interventional procedures, employing ultrasound as a guidance tool where necessary.
• Exercises independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative in performing diagnostic scans.
• Engages in the performance improvement program and adheres to the Corporate Compliance Plan.
• Maintains outstanding customer service and respectful relationships.
• Teaches and directs the work of other staff and students as needed.
