GENERAL SUMMARY: Reports to the Program Chair, who must be designated and responsible for the coordination of both first year and second-year cohort for the DMS program’s Abdomen-Extended/ Obstetrics and Gynecology Concentration. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Develop, design, and deliver instruction in collaboration with the course coordinator and review and assist with revision as needed for department policies and procedures Provide course syllabi for instruction in collaboration with the Clinical Coordinator Develop, design, and deliver instruction in collaboration with the course coordinator Participate in student advising and mentoring, formulate and administer student competencies as needed Engage in the academic roles of teaching, service, scholarship and service Grade examinations and assignments and review evaluations with students, meet all established deadlines set by the College for testing assignments and grade submissions Review and assist with revisions needed for department policies and procedures Identify and recommend to the Department Chair appropriate community agency linkages for student learning experiences Coordinate clinical schedules and visit clinical sites as needed. Coordinates clinical education and evaluates effectiveness. Provides recommendations for improvement to Program Chair. Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned from accreditation
