About The Position

South College invites applications for the position of Full-Time Faculty Diagnostic Medical Sonography at the South College Atlanta campus. We are searching for a team-oriented individual with excellent communication and organization skills.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Sonography or related field
ARDMS or ARRT Certification in Sonography in good standing
ARDMS certification in Adult Echo
Minimum of two (2) years of professional experience in the discipline

Nice To Haves

ARDMS certification in AB, OB/GYN, BR and RVT
Minimum of one (1) year of academic appointment in a JRC-DMS accredited program with teaching responsibilities
Proficient in clinical supervision and evaluation, instruction, curriculum development and academic advising
Previous experience with an online learning platform (e.g., Canvas, Blackboard).

Responsibilities

Provide instruction for DMS courses, student evaluation, and maintain student records.
Assist with growing and developing additional clinical sites for DMS program.
Ensuring students can achieve competencies.
Facilitate operational activities related to quality patient care and overall department function.
Uphold high standards of teaching, scholarship, and service.
Maintain strong relationships with clinical affiliates and the community at large.
Additional responsibilities as assigned by the Program Director.
