About The Position
Baptist Health is seeking a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer in our Pediatric Ultrasound Department at Wolfson Children's Hospital. This is a PRN, various shifts opportunity. At Baptist Health, our Diagnostic Medical Sonographers play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care through advanced imaging by performing high-quality ultrasound examination, assist physicians, and ensure the safety and comfort of pediatric patients. This Diagnostic Medical Sonographer will be located at Baptist Wolfson Children's Hospital. Pediatric and ED experience is preferred.
Requirements
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
- Registered Technologist in Sonography ARRT (S) Required Or
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Songrapher (ARDMS) Required
- 1-2 years Experience working in a hospital setting
- 1-2 years Hospital based department specific work experience
- Ultrasound Experience
- Experience with vascular ultrasound
- Customer Service Experience
Nice To Haves
- Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) Preferred Or
- Registered Technologist in Vascular Sonography ARRT (VS) Preferred
- Pediatric and ED experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Performs high quality, diagnostic ultrasound and peripheral vascular procedures.
- Promotes good will amongst co-workers and other departments and has a positive, comforting demeanor with all patients.
- Is compliant with mandatory education and health requirements.
