About The Position
Baptist Health is seeking a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer in our Ultrasound Department at Baptist ED Town Center. This is a PRN, various shifts opportunity. At Baptist Health, our Diagnostic Medical Sonographers play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care through advanced imaging by performing high-quality ultrasound examination, assist physicians, and ensure the safety and comfort of patients (both adults and pediatrics) in a hospital setting. This Diagnostic Medical Sonographer will be located at Baptist ED Town Center. Pediatric and ED experience is preferred.
Requirements
- 1-2 years Experience working in a hospital setting
- 1-2 years Hospital based department specific work experience
- Ultrasound Experience
- Experience with vascular ultrasound
- Customer Service Experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
- Registered Technologist in Sonography ARRT (S) Required Or
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Songrapher (ARDMS) Required
Nice To Haves
- Pediatric and ED experience is preferred.
- Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) Preferred Or
- Registered Technologist in Vascular Sonography ARRT (VS) Preferred
Responsibilities
- Performs high quality, diagnostic ultrasound and peripheral vascular procedures.
- Promotes good will amongst co-workers and other departments and has a positive, comforting demeanor with all patients.
- Is compliant with mandatory education and health requirements.
