PRN Diagnostic Medical Sonographer
About The Position
Are you looking for casual hours as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer? Saint Alphonsus has a PRN opportunity for you. Our Sonographer will: Perform diagnostic ultrasound, physiologic, and duplex studies on patients of all ages according to approved protocols, ultrasound exposure, safety, and established exam indicators including spectral analysis and color Doppler displays. Schedules and obtains history from patients. Evaluates the appropriateness of requested exams and assists with procedures. Some travel between sites expected.
Requirements
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography with OB/GYN and Nuchal Translucency (NT) required.
- Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers certification from either AHA, ARC or the Military Training Network
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
Nice To Haves
- Registered as a Radiologic Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in science or Allied Health field preferred.
