About The Position

Whether in the inpatient setting or outpatient clinics, your expertise will directly impact clinical decisions and patient outcomes.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program.
• Registered with ARDMS or ARRT (Sonography) upon hire, or within 12 months of hire.
• RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist) or VT certification upon hire or within 12 months.
• BCLS certification required and must be maintained throughout employment.
• Strong leadership skills and ability to communicate effectively with all members of the care team.
• Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and assist with patient positioning.
• Demonstrates understanding of the human development process and ability to care for patients across the lifespan.
• Computer proficiency, including the ability to input and retrieve patient data.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and specialized ultrasound imaging, including vascular studies, with precision and compassion.
• Support radiologists and residents during complex or advanced studies.
• Act as a technical resource in your specialty area for colleagues across the imaging department.
• Uphold imaging standards while working independently and collaboratively across care settings.
