About The Position

Assist the technical staff by participating in direct and indirect patient care and materials management and maintenance as directed by the technical staff and in accordance with approved policies and procedures.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Must be able to perform work accurately with attention to detail within specified time periods, handle frequent interruptions, and adapt to changes in workload and work schedule.
Ability to work cooperatively with members of the healthcare delivery team, staff, and co-workers.
Ability to set priorities, solve problems, and respond quickly to emergency requests.
Ability to communicate effectively (orally and in writing) and assist in meeting the patient care needs of neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
Must demonstrate initiative and excellent interpersonal skills.

Nice To Haves

AS or BS Degree or Medical Assistant certificate preferred.
Health care setting experience preferred.
