About the position
The Diagnostic Imaging Support Associate provides safe and appropriate basic patient care in order to assist in the delivery of care to patients supporting a safe and positive patient experience. This role includes patient screening paperwork, assisting with patient transport, maintaining supplies, and providing general clerical assistance to patients and staff. The associate may perform direct patient observation, reporting changes in patient condition to appropriate department staff. This position provides basic patient care and support to the Diagnostic Imaging department while offering a unique opportunity to learn more about the modalities within Diagnostic Imaging to determine which modality is of most interest and potential for the next step in a career path within Diagnostic Imaging.
Responsibilities
- Provide safe and appropriate basic patient care.
- Assist in the delivery of care to patients.
- Complete patient screening paperwork.

Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Previous clerical or patient care experience in a clinical setting preferred.
- Ability to maintain infection control policies related to patient care.
- Ability to work efficiently as a team member within and across clinical settings.
