Responsible for expert knowledge of all Diagnostic Procedures. Is sought out by others for advice, training and clarification of job-related knowledge. Communicates, coordinates, delegates and assigns the daily activities of the Diagnostic Department. Facilitates, organizes, and reviews daily workflow to deliver maximal throughput of all Diagnostic procedures on customers ranging in age from newborn to late adulthood. Prioritizes, motivates and promotes quality patient care to support the Mission, Vision and Values of Sky Ridge Medical Center. Ensures facility technical and documentation expectations are consistent with JCAHO regulations and Sky Ridge Medical Center's standards. Positively demonstrates concern and consideration when interacting with patients, medical staff and employees. Demonstrates independent critical thinking skills for daily activity and patient flow of the Diagnostic department and assumes accountability for personal and team contributions.

Requirements

  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
  • (ARRT-R) Radiography certification.
  • Associate Degree, or Vocational School Graduate.

Responsibilities

  • Expert knowledge of all Diagnostic Procedures.
  • Advise, train and clarify job-related knowledge to others.
  • Communicate, coordinate, delegate and assign daily activities of the Diagnostic Department.
  • Facilitate, organize, and review daily workflow for maximal throughput of Diagnostic procedures.

  • Ensure compliance with JCAHO regulations and Sky Ridge Medical Center's standards.
