As the Diagnostic Imaging Supervisor, you will supervise the daily operations of the imaging department at a single site to assure the delivery of the highest quality of diagnostic images. Direct workflow, develops staffing schedule in coordination with the regional manager, resolves technical problems and ensures general operations conform to established standards. Requirements

  • ARRT License
  • Massachusetts Radiology License
  • MR certification
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • 3+ years of experience as an imaging technologist
  • 2+ years of supervisory or lead experience in the imaging environment

Nice To Haves

  • MRSO certification
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
  • General experience working with HIS/RIS products
  • Proficiency with Excel & Word
  • Proven ability to multi-task
  • Proven effective written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily operations of the diagnostic imaging/mammography department, ensuring quality, service, and cost standards are met
  • Provide technical expertise and training to staff, ensuring imaging studies meet radiologists and ACR standards
  • Manage staffing and scheduling to optimize patient service and departmental efficiency within budget guidelines
  • Oversee compliance and quality assurance, including equipment maintenance, radiation safety, and certification documentation
  • Perform imaging duties regularly, maintain staff credentials, and support budget development and operational improvements
