About The Position

MAIN FUNCTION: 1. Responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities at the Griffin Imaging & Diagnostics Center at Ivy Brook, including primary oversight of all clinical activities and staff. Performs clinical supervision. 2. Prepares for and performs MRI examinations on patients; coordinates patient flow and the activities of the MRI scanner. Performs EKG and Phlebotomy functions as required. Performs a variety of x-ray procedures involved in applying prescribed ionizing radiation for radiological diagnosis. 3. Acts as MRI Safety Officer.

Requirements

• B. S. Degree required.
• ARRT (R) (MR) required with Connecticut State license.
• CPR certification required.
• 5 – 10 years of imaging service required
• Five (5) years supervisory experience required
• Credentials in two (2) imaging modalities required.
