About The Position

Requirements

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification required.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required.
• National Specialty Certification preferred.
• Texas State RN license or compact license required.
• Graduate of a School of Nursing; Associate's Degree or BSN preferred.
• 2 years of CCU/ICU or ER nursing experience required.

Responsibilities

• Perform Radiology nursing activities and manage medications and narcotics in the Radiology Department.
• Assure high-quality nursing care with a focus on patient care and education.
• Participate in and promote Star Service Skills, including service recovery.
• Educate patients and families about their care and treatment options.
• Deliver customer-focused patient care utilizing the Excellence Always Standards.
• Transport patients as necessary to facilitate optimal patient care and flow.
