At the direction of the Chief Operating Officer, the Director of Imaging & Cardiovascular Services is responsible for the management of Diagnostic and Medical Imaging Services, Cardiac Services and Radiation Oncology Services, including, but not limited to fiscal management, planning, quality assurance, personnel management, and coordinating services within Skyline Medical Center. TriStar Skyline Medical Center is a 350+ bed facility. We are Tennessees first comprehensive stroke center and a national leader in neuroscience. In addition, we are equipped with 3 helipads, new ICU and Medical/Surgical floors, and burn care services. We offer a CARF accredited Inpatient Rehabilitation program and are a state-designated Level I Trauma Center. Requirements

ARRT R.T. (R) or CNMT required.
Associates Degree required; Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare or Business Administration preferred.
5 years of related leadership experience required.
Ability to develop budgets and manage department finances required.
Familiarity with Hospital and Radiology management information systems required.

Nice To Haves

Certified Radiology Administrator (CRA) preferred.

Responsibilities

Set goals and objectives for the department/services and delineate strategies for implementing and achieving goals, in conjunction with the COO, the Medical Director, and appropriate staff input.
Develop and monitor annual and long-range department budgets.
Delineate and develop new programs that support department goals and objectives.
Maintain responsibility for the quality of all patient care and support activities of the department, in conjunction with the Medical Director.
Structure technical fees and for coding and auditing within established guidelines.
Serve as a role model both inside and outside the organization by exhibiting leadership behaviors such as encouraging and involving others, delegating authority, facilitating decision-making and building consensus between and within the organization.
Serve on the Cardiovascular Committee.
Develop and maintain good working relationships both inter- and intra-departmentally; to foster good customer relations and to observe the Skyline Medical Center mission statement.
Be knowledgeable and compliant with the policies, procedures, and regulations relating to the services at Skyline Medical Center.
