The DI Assistant exhibits leadership skills in communication, team building, process improvement, development of responsibility through delegation of activity, and promoting office efficiencies. This role requires the ability to demonstrate skills in communication and prioritizing assignments, as well as developing and maintaining collaborative working relationships with all system departments, medical staff, and other healthcare professionals at Thompson Health. The DI Assistant must exhibit time management skills, keyboarding skills, and multi-tasking abilities to ensure that the business components of the department are maintained at an efficient and effective level. Additionally, the DI Assistant is expected to make every effort to satisfy the needs of every customer in a friendly, service-oriented manner, and must have a working knowledge of Diagnostic Imaging testing and the complex scheduling issues involved with timely and appropriate testing of patients.
