About The Position

The Diagnostic Imaging Assistant position will provide a variety of functions including registration, front end office operations, manage outpatient schedules and precerts, copay collection, and provide clinical assistance in the Center to the technical and Physician staff. This staff member will support daily operations to the MRI, CT, X-Ray, Ultrasound, and the Lab areas.

Requirements

• High school graduate
• Medical Office Experience Required
• Medical Terminology required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office required
• Copay collection experience required
• 1-3 years Phlebotomy experience required
• 1-3 years EKG experience required
• Ability to function under pressure of time demands
• Position requires eye-hand and gross body coordination skills
• Extensive walking expected
• Ability to concentrate on details despite interruptions
• Ability to attend to tasks for more than 30 minutes at a time
• Ability to understand and relate theories behind several related concepts
• Ability to remember multiple tasks given over long periods of time

Nice To Haves

• Preferred training in word processing/data entry/computer operation
• 2-4 years phlebotomy certification preferred
