That is why we need you, an experienced Diagnostic Imaging and Oculomics Specialist who can provide expert guidance on next-generation diagnostic imaging hardware or oculomics for chronic disease detection, leveraging multimodal biomarker data fusion. As part of our team, you'll serve as a strategic technical advisor to the Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA-H), helping conceptualize, create, and execute advanced government-funded research and development programs to accelerate better health outcomes for everyone. Work with world-class scientists and engineers to support the development of high-impact solutions to society's most challenging health problems. Leverage technical expertise to provide strategic assessments of new technologies in support of senior ARPA-H decision makers. Maintain responsibility for presenting findings and recommendations to a team of colleagues and clients on the feasibility and potential impact of future research programs, assisting with the management of current programs, and facilitating the commercialization of successfully developed technologies. You'll serve as a Diagnostic Imaging and Oculomics Specialist, helping clients develop next-generation diagnostic imaging hardware, multimodal data fusion approaches, and software and mobile apps for digital health diagnostics. You will be responsible for managing incoming requirements and being readily available to shift your focus to fulfill emerging client requests. Requirements

  • Experience in software and mobile app development for health or diagnostic applications
  • Experience with machine learning, deep learning, and artificial intelligence applied to biomedical data
  • Experience in imaging and optics, including smartphone-based diagnostic imaging
  • Experience with oculomics research, including in relation to chronic kidney disease, CKM syndrome, or systemic diseases
  • Experience in interacting and communicating with senior-level executives
  • Experience in multimodal data fusion, such as integrating image, biomarker, and clinical data
  • Knowledge of industry leaders and disrupters in digital health diagnostics, imaging, and AI/ML, including analytic validity and clinical utility studies
  • Ability to operate independently within a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
  • Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of experience with diagnostic imaging and oculomics, Master's degree and 5+ years of experience with diagnostic imaging and oculomics, or Doctorate degree and 2+ years of experience with diagnostic imaging and oculomics

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with federal research regulations and compliance standards
  • Experience supporting ARPA-like programs or DoD advanced development programs
  • Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
