About The Position

Facility: Bassett Medical Center 1 Atwell Road Cooperstown, NY 13326 Locum Needs: Diagnostic Imager Onsite only M-F, 0800 to 1700 No call 70 to 100 cases//day (CT, US, MRI, plain films) ERM: Epic Imaging System: McKesson Dictation: Powerscribe 360 Preferred Candidate: DX comfortable performing screening, diagnostic and biopsy mammograms Dates: 4/20, 4/21, 4/22, 4/24, 4/24, 5/18, 5/19, 5/20, 5/21, 5/22, 6/15, 6/16, 6/17, 6/18, 6/19 (potential for more as this has been a difficult role to fill) Rate: $3900-$4400/day (conversations to increase that rate) About CIRA: 105+ Rads Bassett Medical Center is part of Bassett Healthcare Network 180 bed, acute care teaching facility 24 hour emergency/trauma care 8 Radiologists Teaching affiliate of Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons Cred: 120 days Bassett MC, Cooperstown, NY MAX BILL RATE RANGE: $3900 - $4400 daily Two Diagnostic Radiologists needed to work 5 days per week beginning January 2026; ONSITE ONLY; NO REMOTE READING Must Have Active NY License BLS CERTIFICATION REQUIRED Start Date: January 2026 End Date: Ongoing Schedule & Coverage: Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Call: No call responsibilities APP Coverage: N/A Physician Coverage: Standard departmental coverage Average number of patients, typical cases/procedures: 70-100/ day depending on type of mixture. Radiology Studies Mixture CT, US (includes OB), MRI, Plain films; some days mostly only one of the categories, other more mixture. Certifications & Systems: Required Certification: ABR (American Board of Radiology) Licensure: Active New York State License EMR: EPIC Imaging Systems: McKesson PACS Dictation: Nuance Powerscribe 360 Voice Recognition Credentialing: Timeline: Approximately 120 days Preferred Candidate: A Diagnostic Radiologist who is comfortable perform screening, diagnostic, and biopsy mammograms (one week per month)

Requirements

• Active NY License
• BLS CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
• ABR (American Board of Radiology)
• Active New York State License
