Job Summary: Performs a variety of standard and some specialty pediatric and diagnostic sonographic procedures with little or no supervision, accurately, producing quality studies under a variety of conditions. Assists in the identification and resolution of work process issues within the department. Applies the profession's code of ethics in all aspects of practice. Maintains knowledge of, observes, and enforces the safety measures in Environment of Care. Qualifications: Education High School Diploma (required) And Program Graduate of a formal program in Ultrasonography that meets the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) qualifications or trained through a Radiologic Technology Program. (required) Or Associates Degree Medical Sonography (or related field) i.e. successful completion in: ARRT Sonography Board in addition to ARDMS Certification in SPI. (required) Bachelors Degree (preferred)
